Assad Maqnassa is a Partner at Atwan Attorneys and the head of our litigation practice. Assad has over 15 years’ experience in advising clients in Jordan on a range of matters with a primary focus on complex litigation and alternative dispute resolution. Assad represents local and international clients in all phases of litigation before all the Jordanian courts from compliance counselling to mediation, settlement negotiation, motion practice, trial, and appeal. Assad also represents clients in all types of arbitration cases.

In addition to Assad’s substantial experience in litigation before national courts and in arbitrating disputes. Assad also advises clients on commercial matters and provides consultation in various areas of the law. Assad offers clients a comprehensive perception of their complex legal issues and creates a thoughtful approach to litigation which ultimately results to successfully resolve the case. Assad built an impressive reputation as a trial lawyer in Jordan.

Prior to working with Atwan Attorneys, Assad established his own boutique law firm. Prior to that, Assad worked as an attorney and legal counsel in Kurdi Group for seven (7) years.
